NEXT ISSUE

The next issue of Airbrush Step by Step No. 02/09 as PDF file is available from April 2009 in the "order" section.

Jellyfish

The Hawaiian artist Dennis Matthewson belongs to the stars of the american airbrush
scene. Among others, his comics-like Tiki motives as well as his Custom Painting
workshops have become legendary. In ASBS, he demonstrates the arousal of a
jellyfish which by now belongs to a series of very successful motifs.
Speed

Speed is his motif but not his style of work for sure. Patrick
Dodde from Holland has painted his racing motif with several
tiny details and effects in order to photorealisticly catch
the speed of a racing car. He gives away some tips and
tricks in his step by step.

The Bird of Wisdom

In the candle light, there is an owl sitting on a book and
looking over the edge of its glasses in the most lovely way.
The airbrush design student Stefanie Gronau brushed this
classical wisdom motif onto a black leather folder. Her step
by step will show how you can stage a quite simple motif
in a very effective way.

Space Ship Construction

The inventors of Enterprise, Millennium Falcon and Voyager were the first ones to show us the way: They constructed some fantastic flying objects of the future. Where to gain some inspiration for some
creation of one own, how to make a draft of fantasy objects like those and use them for further illustrations – this is what the new analogue/digital workshop will show you.
