    her picture ‘Escape from Eternity’, she tells us about her work methods and techniques in a step by step.

    Clarissa Stoica leads us through the designing of an airbrush motif on a sweatshirt. In this step by step, you learn all of the tips and tricks for the processing of textiles. You’ll also learn how to work in small accessories such diamante stones into your motif.
  • The Pearl Princess –

    In his step by step, Jeroen van Neijhof provides us with a real look into his work on roughly 300 pearls that wonderfully build the beautiful face of a princess. The artist shows how precise stencils, an application of paint in many layers and fine paintbrush work allow a mystical portrait to come to life.

    The red eyed tree frog is at home in the rainforests of central America. With lots of love
    to detail, Walter Cano Cruz uses this step by step to show us how he his airbrush and sophisticated etching technique magically whip together a photorealistic portrait of the exotic being.
  • Winter Wonderland –
    Airbrush illustration with a Photoshop finish


    Andrea Pischel shows how a breathtaking Alp panorama can be magically created to display the ice cold and beauty of the mountain range. How the work is then digitally given the last little touches is presented in conclusion in the short Photoshop step by step instructions.

"Sounding" art for the Hahnemühle calendar 2014

For the calendar painting contest by Hahnemühle FINEART the topic "Music" should call the tune! Anyone who would like to realize creative ideas on Hahnemühle paper on this subject may take part. Inspired by instruments, melodies and people making music, the technique is freely selectable. Whether the image is  produced using airbrush, watercolor, ink, copics or whether a collage or oil painting is created: each technique is welcome, mainly the topic "Music" has to be taken to heart.

US-Tuning-Star Ryno Templeton visits Germany: The "Trick-my-Truck"-Airbrusher teaches a workshop in Hamburg and makes an appearance at the airbrush fair in Bobenheim-Roxheim

He is always in for the big ones, be it semi-trucks or celebrities: U.S. airbrush artist Ryan "Ryno" Templeton is the star of the TV tuning documentaries "Trick my Truck" (on RTL2 in Germany) and "Car Warriors" (SpeedTV/USA). Also on "Inside West Coast Customs" (on DMAX in Germany) the Californian often gives the finishing touch to luxury cars with his unusual vehicle designs. For Marvel Comics he painted the Iron Man Truck and  designed and painted the cars of ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons and the rock band Linkin'Park.

ASBS-Artist Andrea Mistretta at opening of exibit in Orlando, Florida

In our current issue of Airbrush Step by Step we introduced you to famous american artist Andrea Mistretta. With her new Mardi Gras Poster and our magazine at hand she kicked off the exhibition "A Year in the Life: Backstage to Onstage at Universal Orlando Resort" at the Orange County Regional History Center last saturday.Visitors get a glimpse at the process that prepares the theme park's iconic annual events. Along with the different event seasons at Universal Orlando the exhibition will change as well. The first theme is Mardi Gras, followed by Halloween Horror Nights and ending with the holidays. The exhibition runs through January 5, 2014.
