 For the calendar painting contest by Hahnemühle FINEART the topic "Music" should call the tune! Anyone who would like to realize creative ideas on Hahnemühle paper on this subject may take part. Inspired by instruments, melodies and people making music, the technique is freely selectable. Whether the image is produced using airbrush, watercolor, ink, copics or whether a collage or oil painting is created: each technique is welcome, mainly the topic "Music" has to be taken to heart.

He is always in for the big ones, be it semi-trucks or celebrities: U.S. airbrush artist Ryan "Ryno" Templeton is the star of the TV tuning documentaries "Trick my Truck" (on RTL2 in Germany) and "Car Warriors" (SpeedTV/USA). Also on "Inside West Coast Customs" (on DMAX in Germany) the Californian often gives the finishing touch to luxury cars with his unusual vehicle designs. For Marvel Comics he painted the Iron Man Truck and designed and painted the cars of ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons and the rock band Linkin'Park.

In our current issue of Airbrush Step by Step we introduced you to famous american artist Andrea Mistretta. With her new Mardi Gras Poster and our magazine at hand she kicked off the exhibition "A Year in the Life: Backstage to Onstage at Universal Orlando Resort" at the Orange County Regional History Center last saturday.Visitors get a glimpse at the process that prepares the theme park's iconic annual events. Along with the different event seasons at Universal Orlando the exhibition will change as well. The first theme is Mardi Gras, followed by Halloween Horror Nights and ending with the holidays. The exhibition runs through January 5, 2014. Our magazine in Florida! Thank you Andrea Mistretta!
